Adelaide Stampex 2008

Adelaide Stampex 2008 was a National One Frame Competition including a National One Frame Postcards division along with a multi frame State Class Exhibition with the SAPC Congress run in conjunction.

It was held on the weekend of 11 & 12 October at the Drill Hall, Torrens Parade Grounds, King William Road, Adelaide (pictured right).

The exhibition attracted 41 one frame exhibits which included 13 Post Card entries as well as State level congress entries. For the first time at a National One frame exhibition prize winners were awarded the APF Medal with a coloured insert designating the actual gemstone level achieved. Medals awarded to Post Card exhibitors were additionally inscribed Post Card.

The exhibition was very well supported by Australia Post, the numerous dealers in attendance, the general public and those that purchased the souvenir products
