Australian Philatelic Order 2010
The Australian Philatelic Federation announced that three distinguished philatelists will become Members of the Order in 2010:  John Bell (South Australia), Ian McMahon (ACT) and Michel Roland (South Australia).  Click on the links to read their APO citations.  In addition Bryan Young (Victoria) will receive the APO Research Award.  The 2010 Australian Philatelic Order Presentation Dinner will be held on Saturday, 11 September (7pm for 7:30pm) at the Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia, 111 Hutt Street, Adelaide.  The cost to attend is $75 per head;  Dress is Black Tie.  To book your place at this prestigious occasion, e-mail Ross Wood (APF Secretary).  [

Australia 2013 Exhibition Website launched
Australia 2013 is an FIP World Philatelic Exhibition to be held in Melbourne in May 2013.  The exhibition will mark the centenary of the first Commonwealth Kangaroo & Map stamps.  The exhibition has recently launched its official website.  [1 April]
