Melbourne Stampshow 09 Australian National Philatelic Exhibition will be held at the Function Centre, Melbourne
Park (National Tennis Centre), Batman Avenue, Melbourne from Thursday, 23 to
Sunday, 26 July 2009 (note this is a change from the originally published dates
of 15 - 19 April).
The venue, now very familiar to Melbourne's philatelic community is part of the Melbourne Parks Sports Precinct with excellent parking facilities plus a tram route passing the door and Richmond Railway station all within easy walking distance. Melbourne's last full national philatelic exhibition was held there in 2002 and ANDA regularly hold Stamp & Coin shows at this very central location.
Competitive Exhibition
This National-level Philatelic Exhibition is being organized by Melbourne Stampshow 09 Inc. under the auspices of the Victorian Philatelic Council Inc. [VPC] and the Australian Philatelic Federation Ltd. [APF].
Participation in the Exhibition is open to all exhibitors whether they are members of affiliated organizations or not. Preference will be given to Australian and New Zealand residents. Non-competitive entries will only be made on the invitation of the Committee.

Division 4 Australia Post Cup
Entries containing research into philatelic aspects of Australia Post services since 1970 might be eligible to compete for the Australia Post Cup and a cash prize of $500. Prospective entrants should request a list of the special conditions covering this award from a Commissioner or the Organizing Committee.
Display frames hold sixteen [16] sheets [4 rows of 4 sheets]. Each exhibit accepted will be allocated a minimum of three [3] frames, and a maximum of eight [8] frames, except for Youth exhibits which require 2 to 5 frames [refer Para. 2.9 above].
Application and Entry Fees
Entry fees are $30 per frame for each frame of 16 sheets. Literature entries are $30. Youth entries are free. Frame fees and return postage [where applicable] must accompany the entry form.
