River City 2006
River City 2006 (National One-Frame Philatelic Exhibition) was held at the RNA Showgrounds, Gregory Terrace, Brisbane, over the weekend of 26 & 27 August 2006. Twenty seven entries were on show receiving 2 Diamond, 7 Rubies, 9 Emerald, 7 Sapphire and 2 Topaz awards.
The show champion winner was Hugh Freeman's entry The American Fleet Postal Cards. Murray Collin's entry Postal History of Nyasaland Rhodesia Field Force 1915-1918 was Reserve Champion with John Sinfield's entry 'Australia: 1960 Tiger Cat 8d Definitive' receiving a special prize.
