Members of the Victorian Philatelic Council
The VPC comprises four nominees of the Royal Philatelic Society of Victoria, four elected representatives of affiliated clubs and societies, and four nominees of the Australasian Philatelic Traders' Association (APTA). In addition, Australia Post is invited to have a non voting representative attend Council meetings. The VPC may also appoint non voting special members and project officers from time to time as required.

VPC News
VPC News is the quarterly newsletter of the VPC and is distributed free of charge to clubs and societies affiliated with the Council and APTA members in Victoria. Subscriptions are available to other interested persons at a cost of $15 per annum post paid. It is distributed on or before the 1st of March, June, September and December with copy deadline being the 15th of preceding month.
Club Secretaries and fair organisers are encouraged to advise the Editor (Alex Stoneman) of any changes in club and society meeting details and upcoming fairs and other special events. Advertising is available at a cost of $50 per issue or $150 for four issues for a quarter A4 page, $75/$225 for half a page, and $100/$300 per full page.
Exhibition Frames and Trailer Available for Hire
The VPC maintains a fully enclosed trailer which houses thirty (30) 15-sheet exhibition frames. Hire of the trailer and frames is available free of charge to affiliated clubs and societies, however other interested organisations are also able to hire the frames and trailer for a small fee. Judges
The VPC is the responsible body for the training and accreditation of philatelic judges in Victoria at the State level. The VPC can provide judges to attend club and society competition nights free on request. Training courses are conducted from time to time depending on demand.
Annual Congress
The Victorian Philatelic Council stages an Annual Congress normally in October. One of the functions of Congress is to elect collector (club) representatives which are nominated by affiliated clubs and societies to the VPC.
VPC Award of Merit
The Victorian Philatelic Council honours philatelists who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of philately in Victoria. Nominations are sought annually and awards presented at the VPC's Annual Congress.

VPC Display at Charles Leski Auctions
An initiative by Charles Leski Auctions and the VPC is a stamp display open to the general public in the foyer of Leski's business at 13 Cato Street, Hawthorn. Each display is 6 frames (90 pages) and is of general interest.
