Wodonga 2007

Wodonga 2007 was held at the Wodonga Civic Centre, Victoria, on 8 and 9 December.  It was a National One-Frame Exhibition with multi frame State Class exhibition run in conjunction.  Congratulations to all participating exhibitors on their awards.   The National One Frame Class achieved One Diamond award, 16 Ruby awards, 15 Sapphire awards, 24 Emerald awards and 2 Topaz awards [Entry total - 58].   Awards in the State classes ranged from Gold to Silver-Bronze.  Eight special prizes were awarded courtesy of Australia Post, the Australian Philatelic Federation, the Victorian Philatelic Council and Edna & Gordon Darge.

Exhibition Souvenirs

APTA issued a special souvenir of the stamp and coin fair.   The VPC commemorated the exhibition with an overprint of Australia Post's "Kelly Country" postcard.  The cost of this souvenir item is $4.  The VPC's 54th Annual Congress was commemorated with a gold overprinted "Howzat" cricket minisheet at a cost of $10 each.  This item is available in red ink for $6 each.  Mail order for VPC items to VPC, GPO Box 9800, Melbourne, 3001 enclosing $1 to cover postage and handling costs.
