The APF offer heaps of programs and services for young collectors . . . .

The Young Collector:  this is a free magazine for young stamp collectors produced by the APF in collaboration with Australia Post.

It's issued three times a year.
Each issue is produced in quality full color and features:

      • A full A4 size page Word Search
      • A 'Spot the differences' challenge using a stamp or other philatelic item
      • Two feature articles on a themed subject crammed with heaps of quality stamp images
      • A stamp Detectives challenge featuring ten questions for you to research and answer (you always get some pictorial clues to help you and there's a free gift on offer to everyone who successfully completes the challenge)
      • Find the Theme - it's amazing how many items of interest can be found in a single stamp when you take a close look!
      • Who to contact in your State or Territory to find out more about stamp collecting clubs, activities and programs especially for you

To get on the mailing list for a hard copy you just need to get in contact with your State Youth Officer.

Junior Stamp Clubs:  there are many junior stamp clubs and groups around  Australia - your State Youth Officer can help you find one nearby.

Support to Junior Stamp Clubs:  the APF works with State Stamp Councils to support junior stamp clubs and their leaders.  If you would like to join a club or seek help for a club you already belong to then e-mail Linda Lee or your State Youth Officer.

Mentor Program: Young people wishing to start an exhibit or improve an existing one can get help by letter, phone, fax, e-mail or face to face with adult stamp collectors who share the same exhibiting interest.

To find out more about this program, please e-mail Linda Lee or contact your Youth Officer.

Young People Displaying at Adult Stamp Clubs:  adult stamp clubs sometimes invite youngsters to display at their clubs - we have a list of things that stamp clubs can do to help make  your visit enjoyable and it can even help them in looking after adults who display too.  To find out more e-mail Linda Lee  or contact your State Youth Officer.

The APF Youth Page on the APF Website:  we hope you have enjoyed your visit.

The site will be updated regularly and if you have any ideas for making it better for young people then just e-mail Linda Lee or contact your Youth Officer.

Spread the word - stamp collecting is cool!
